Share is best known as the editor of Poetry magazine, a Chicago-based literary journal where T.S. Eliot and Marianne Moore got their start. A wordsmith of the highest caliber, Share has also written his fair share of poetry books, including Squandermania, Union, and Wishbone. Open to teens interested in learning from a master of poetry, the two-hour workshop will feature Share providing one-on-one instruction to a small class of emerging writers. Step up your vocab this Friday at Young Arts (2100 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Class begins at 6:30 p.m., and entrance is free. Space is limited, and RSVP is required.
