“Got everybody watching what I do/Come walk in my shoes/And see the way I’m living if you really want to…,” sings Rihanna on the hook of T.I.’s “Live Your Life.” And the words are oh so appropriate for the self-proclaimed King of the South — a man who has been embroiled in some major legal issues as of late. Maybe you’ve heard about his troubles from comedians who have been giving him hell for trying to buy a World War III arsenal’s worth of machine guns hours before he was to appear on the BET Awards, or maybe you got the 411 from the ever-grouchy 50 Cent, who launched a not-so-indirect lyrical attack claiming that Tip’s resulting 12-month prison sentence was a product of some good old-fashioned snitchin’.

Whether you believe in a rapper’s right to bear arms or a man’s right to give the feds some info in order to knock a few dozen years off of his sentence, you gotta know that “Whatever You Like” is the shit. This Friday night, T.I.P. will perform it live, and two of his Atlanta bredren, Young Jeezy and Lloyd, will also hit the stage as part of the Live Your Life Tour.
