Do you canoe? Or do you prefer fondue? Now you can do a little of both — and even play your didjeridoo — at the Inner City Outings Canoe Fondue fundraiser. The ICO is an outreach program of the Sierra Club that was established to provide underserved youth populations with opportunities to explore the natural environment through kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, sailing, and other outdoor adventures. Tonight you can enjoy a relaxing canoe trip on Biscayne Bay and then indulge in a vegetable/cheese fondue dinner with chocolate fondue for dessert. The evening kicks off at 6:30 at Matheson Hammock Park with pretrip cocktails, and canoes depart at 7:00. A minimum $30 donation is required to reserve your spot.
