Get your all white attire that you don’t mind tossing after a single use out, because Life in Color, the world’s largest paint party is back on December 26th. And for the first time ever the festival is a two day event. That means two nights of cannons blasting all the colors of the rainbow onto the faces, flipping hair, and dancing bods of 25,000 EDM devotees.
“We’re expecting to use a record amount of paint,” says VP of operations and business affairs Eric Fuller. But neon splatter (although fun and pretty to look at) might be the least exciting thing that Life in Color has in store for this year’s mega blowout. DJ, producer, and EDM magnate Kaskade is headlining the festival on December 27th, along with bad boy Diplo, Aussie blonde twin act Nervo, and Adventure Club. They’ll split their musical talent between two massive stages that will take over the parking grounds of Sun Life Stadium (347 Don Shula Dr., Miami Gardens) whilst a third local stage will highlight talent from the 305.
According to Fuller, they’ve even got some dynamic art installations planned. “Think Burning Man type stuff,” he says. So like, maybe giant robots shooting out flames?
