$7,500

Lola Bar couldn’t tame it, and Lounge 16 was too small to satisfy it, but Liquor Lounge handcuffed it for a year, and The Club House was an appropriately raucous fling SpiderPussy tackled with major verve. No matter where its flower decided to open up, this box has been the ish since 2002. The Pussy is always packed with cool kids dancing their asses off to a mix of house, indie rock, Brit pop, Miami bass, electro, and hip-hop. And now the party with a cooter and more legs than you can count is rockin’ out at PS14 each and every Tuesday.

There’s no cover and no chance you’ll hear one of those godawful radio “bangers.” DJs Johnny Strokes and Al B Rotten rule the ones and twos while dancing rules the night, and if you’re more of a head-bobber, prepare to break your effin’ neck. Unlike the kind that loses its elasticity after a few pumps, SpiderPussy remains as tight as ever. See you at the bar.
