There’s the thrilling, punch-packing, concussion-inducing sport of football, and then there’s the nitpicky business of marketing that sport. Take for example the NFL’s position on this Sunday’s Super Bowl: namely, that no entity besides itself may use the term “Super Bowl,” even for events organized around the nationally televised matchup between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. So don’t think of the following as a Super Bowl party guide. Think of it as a totally random assortment of specials that just happen to be taking place during the biggest sports event of the year.
