Boxing and professional wrestling announcer Michael Buffer is known for his trademark battle cry at the beginning of each brawl: “Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready to rumble!” Without that phrase, Buffer might be just another sonorous-voiced ringside presenter. Lilian Garcia performs the same job as ring announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment, but she don’t need no stinkin’ catch phrases. Not only is Garcia a smokin’-hot mamacita, but also she’s a singer of note who has performed the National Anthem at all kinds of big-ticket events, including the 1996 Summer Olympics and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She’s one of only two singers to perform the opening song at WrestleMania more than once. The other? Aretha Franklin. Talk about being in good company.

Anthems aside, Garcia’s true passion stems from her Spanish heritage. Her debut album, ¡Quiero Vivir!, features a duet with local luminary Jon Secada. Miami WWE fans will flip today when Garcia hosts a CD signing at Best Buy.
