So what’s it really like inside Submission, South Beach’s monthly fetish party at Treehouse? Everything a fetish party is supposed to be — and plenty more. Lots of leather, chains, ropes, belts, and most importantly, people who know how to use them.

Party organizer Robert Frost gave us a full tour Saturday as we enjoyed breakbeats from one half of DJ duo Jekyll & Hyde. In the back of the club, fetish enthusiast Smoke showed off sex equipment that ranged in price up to $4,000. And this was just the regular edition of Submission; imagine what’s in store May 19, when Submission doubles as the official after-party following porn convention Exxxotica.
