We interrupt this blog for some great news that has nothing to do with LeBron’s meteoric comeback in last night’s game. Miami area Walgreens are now selling “I Heart Hialeah” T-shirts. It’s fabulous, and it’s true. We saw the above evidence on the wonderful local blog, Sweet Home Hialeah. It’s all part of the blog’s “Only in Hialeah” photo series, which recently included abuelitas wandering the streets in paper-thin nightgowns and folks having impromptu, flag-waving fiestas in their cars.
According to our crack research (i.e. reading the post’s comments section), we’ve sussed out that the above T-shirt is available at the Walgreens on Palm Avenue and 49th Street (specifically across the street from Bank of America and next to Jerry & Joe’s Pizza). But based on the levels of Hialeah love we’re picking up on, you better run and not walk over there. These suckers will surely sell out, bro.
