Tuesday night will mark game 62 of the 2012-13 season, and one thing is clear: LeBron James is in God mode. Basketball fans, particularly the fortunate ones in Miami, are witnessing what could go down as the most impressive statistical year in modern basketball history. On a superstar team, LeBron leads the team in almost every statistical category. He’s improved his stats in almost every category and is shooting a mind-blowing 57 percent from the field for the year.
And he’s all ours. Pat Riley and Micky Arison must sleep pretty damn well at night after cleaning their shelves in preparation for the championship trophies that LeBron and Dwyane Wade will be bringing home soon.
While this Tuesday brings division rivals the Atlanta Hawks to town, the true appeal of any Miami Heat game is being able to tell your grandchildren that you were there when LeBron James was breaking record after record.
