The 24-hour adoption bonanza at Tropical Park (7900 Bird Rd., Miami) will feature dozens of über-adorable adoptable cats and dogs. Every size, color, shape, breed, age, and personality you could ask for — all in a one-stop-shopping spot. There’ll be cutie-pies looking for homes from Miami-Dade Animal Services (MDAS), the Cat Network, the Humane Society of Greater Miami, and other local rescues. Oh, and expect adoption discounts — at least half off for the MDAS pets. Plus, the event will feature a host of other diversions, including the Miami Heat dancers, food trucks, a movie on the lawn, rides, storytellers, Billy the Marlin, and live tunes.
