The Fort Lauderdale drag queen scene is putting Miami’s to shame lately. (Seriously, where are Miami’s drag shows? Where is our Lips?) So we were pleased to see so many queens at last night’s Lords Hotel opening. In case you’ve been snoozing on your LBGT news, this is the only boutique hotel that caters strictly to the gay community. And as they opened their doors last night, the space, formerly the Nash Hotel, was filled with giant platinum wigs, sparkly mini dresses barely covering man parts, and Grey Gardens-worthy garb.
