Throughout history, humanity has been the beneficiary of some wonderful pairings: Jay Z and Beyoncé, Scorsese and DeNiro, Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Now, thanks to the Brooklyn Brewery 4 Course Dinner Pairing at the Butcher Shop (165 NW 23rd St., Miami), you can get down with a few memorable duos.
Hosted by Chef Justin and featuring the best beer/food combos this side of the causeway, the event will highlight the Brooklyn Brewery’s impressive beerspertise right alongside the Butcher Shop’s delicious noms. Starting off the whole shebang will be a shrimp and chorizo diablo butter sauce paired with a pilsner. Following in its oh-so-tasty footsteps will be braised oxtail cannelloni with mushroom ragu, making sweet love to a brown ale. Your mouth will continue watering during course number three — bronzini with a citrus carrot purée and curry cauliflower paired with Brooklyn Brewery’s very own Sorachi Ace. Ending the evening on a sweet note will be the final course, a chocolate crème brûlée accompanied by an Irish stout. Wear your stretchy pants this Thursday. The feast begins at 9 p.m., and tickets cost $70 the night of or $60 during the online presale. RSVP is required. Call 305-846-9120 or visit thebutchershopmiami.com.
