Belgian producer Jona debuted in 2006 with his release of “The Learnings” EP on the prestigious Get Physical imprint and is one of the most promising young talents of the European techno scene. Originally a virtuosic guitarist with jazz/blues inclinations and a big fan of Brian Eno, he combines technical studio savvy with multi-instrumentalist songcraft to produce highly original dance cuts, such as an imaginative techno rework of Dave Brubeck’s jazz classic “Take Five”. Jona is currently playing tour dates across the hemisphere and will be swinging by the Electric Pickle where you can see him spin live this Friday night, along with locals Maurizio & Danyelino, Simon Wish, and Joaquin.
