It’s officially fall. The weather is cooling to 80 degrees, mosquitoes are dying, and everyone is beginning to talk about the Miami Heat. So much has changed, though. Tim Hardaway’s number is being retired, Alonzo Mourning is the VP of player programs, and Quentin Richardson is now on the team. But once again, the Heat has something to prove — especially the boss: D-Wade.

This Sunday at 6 p.m., head to the American Airlines Arena to hear leather balls swooshing through nylon nets and watch the Heat take on that perennial playoff squad, the San Antonio Spurs. This is your chance to see Tim Duncan’s off-the-glass jump shot up close, so you can whip out your version on the unsuspecting chumps at Flamingo Park. Plus you can eat hot dogs, spill popcorn on the person sitting in front of you, and drink beer till Mario Chalmers begins to look like Michael Jordan. Tickets start at ten dollars.
