Welcome to Men on Film, starring me, Antoine Marryweather, where I review films from a male point of view. Tonight we have a brand-new sponsor, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Slogan: “It’s not hard until it’s hard as a rock.” First we have Hannah Montana: The Movie, the story of a young, talented, attractive girl trying to understand herself… Hated it.
Next up is the David Alan Grier stand-up comedy show at 7 and 9:30 p.m. this Saturday at the Improv Paradise Live. I love how little David Alan Grier started out as a voice actor, then got his butt into some plays, then became a hit cast member of In Living Color, and only much later began his stand-up career. I also thought he was very manly as a contestant on season eight of Dancing with the Stars, and it was a shame he got eliminated before that hussy Lil’ Kim. His show, punctuated with expert impressions of Dr. Dre and Gary Coleman, should be funnier than a barrel full of naked sailors. Two snaps up and in a circle!
