It’s Saturday night and your stomach is growling, hungry for some culinary comfort. So you head to The Mahogany Grille for some soul food, and find yourself indulging in Asiago cheese grits, bread pudding, fried chicken, and waffles. Your belly is full, but you’re still feeling an emptiness deep inside. There’s an old saying that declares music is like food for your soul, and tonight you don’t have to move far from the dinner table to feed that little bugger. Every Friday and Saturday night from 9:00 to midnight, the intimate lounge next to the restaurant pulses with live jazz that’ll have you moving and grooving and feeling like you’re at the Cotton Club.
The swaying of your hips will let you work off that meal, but even if you don’t plan on grabbing a bite to eat, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the fantastic aromas just the same.
Fridays, Saturdays, 9 p.m.-midnight, 2007
