Mondays suck. You better get your laughs, beers, and friendly hangs in Sunday while you still can. Luckily, Shirley’s at Gramps Bar (176 NW 24th St., Miami) is wrapping all of that stuff up in one awesome package with a special edition of its Comedy Nite, featuring Forrest Shaw and John Vargas.

Shaw is a local man making pretty damn good in L.A. He’s turned his frustrations into great laughs, like the best of them do, by putting his mind to work as the writer and star of the hit web series Labor Days, as well as his podcast, What’s What. He’s won tons of competitions at the national level, so you don’t have to worry about applauding for politeness.

Vargas isn’t new at this either. He’s also traveling here from L.A., where he happily performs his stand-up about the stupid things people do that he hates. This is kind of a theme with comedians, but these guys are good at it. Just let them make light of the silly stuff while you drink to forget you have work in the morning.

Get your hearty LOLs off this Sunday at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $5. Call 786-752-6693 or visit grampsbar.com.

Sun., Sept. 28, 9 p.m., 2014
