Hitesh Mehta, heralded as “one of the world’s leading authorities, practitioners, and researchers on ecotourism, physical planning, and both the landscape architectural and architectural aspects of ecolodges” will visit Books & Books to promote his latest tome about sustainable tourism and green architecture, Authentic Ecolodges. The book features some of the most forward-thinking vacation hot spots from Madagascar to the Bahamas. A hall-of-fame cricket player and Fort Lauderdale resident, Mehta was named one of five Sustainable Tourism Pioneers in the world by National Geographic Adventure and one of the 25 Most Powerful People in Adventure by Men’s Journal. This Wednesday at 8 p.m., join Mehta for a free book presentation and signing.
