If your foodie bucket list includes a swanky dinner with master culinarians, Chefs Up Front is your chance to check off that item.

This four-course charity dinner lets you get up close and personal with South Florida’s most outstanding chefs, including Giuseppe Galazzi of Fontana at the Biltmore, Robyn Almodovar of Palate Party and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen, chef Scott Barrow of Devon Seafood & Steak, and a whole host of others.

In addition to the unforgettable eats, there’ll be wine pairings, a reception, an auction, and emcee antics by Lisa Petrillo of CBS 4. Best of all, it benefits Cooking Matters, a program that teaches kids and families how to whip up healthful food and shop on a budget.

Speaking of budgets, it’s totally worth blowing your weekly food budget on one killer dinner, wouldn’t you say?
Chefs Up Front begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Biltmore, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. Tickets cost $175 per person. Visit flipany.org.

Fri., Sept. 5, 6:30 p.m., 2014
