Don’t look now, but another corner of Miami has gotten all classed up in the hopes of becoming the next new downtown destination. If you haven’t cruised along Biscayne Boulevard lately, you might have missed the hot new waterfront restaurants that have opened up. Our current fave is Prime Blue Grille (315 Biscayne Blvd., Miami), a contemporary steak house that for a whole year has been making waistlines steadily expand.
To celebrate its anniversary, Prime Blue is hosting Endless Pours, a weeklong program featuring enough wine to intoxicate an ox. The celebration began last Monday and ends this Saturday, so belly up for the $23 power lunch or the $36 power dinner. Both are three courses of deliciousness, and while you chow down on filet mignon and wood-grilled sugarcane shrimp, the steward will keep your glass full with tastings of 10 to 12 top wines, including sparkling, white, red, dessert, and port. Who’s the designated driver?
