Red is redefining the term wine dinner, and in doing so they are bringing Duckhorn Vineyards from Napa Valley to South of Fifth for a night of food and wine. Chef Peter Vauthy will be cooking up five courses to pair with Duckhorn’s wine offerings. Expect to sip on both red and white wines whilst you nosh on braised wild rabbit with winter root vegetables and certified Angus beef prime rib eye paired with Duckhorn’s 2012 “Three Palms Vineyard” Napa Valley Merlot. The price is steep ($179 per person plus tax and gratuity), but if you’re an oenophile this is one supper you might not want to miss. To reserve, call 305-534-3688.
