Spit in the eye of that snobby sommelier at Chez L’Attitude and intimidate your friends with your new-found wine knowledge by taking the Wine Appreciation Fundamentals course offered by the Wine University of Miami. Learn how to taste like a pro, how to pair wine with food, how to read that inscrutable wine label, and lots of other parlor tricks. Two groups are available. One will meet on successive Tuesdays, June 21 and 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. The other will meet Saturday, June 25, from 2 to 6 p.m. Both will take place at El Carajo, off South Dixie Highway at SW 17th Avenue.
