Party for change? Yes, we did. Last month, Icandee Productions brought Miamians from all walks of life together at its inaugural ONE LOVE event and used music to answer President Obama’s call for us to join together as a nation. For February, we’re getting even more LOVE, and once again every creed, color, and political or sexual preference is invited. This Sunday, join the rest of the movement at the Voyage Ultra Lounge rooftop in downtown Brickell. From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can rock out to a diverse lineup of house DJs such as Amália Leandro, David Solero, and Stefano Ravasini, or you can chat someone’s ear off about Obama’s transparent cabinet. Either way, your good time will be guaranteed and so will your good karma, because Icandee is aiding in your philanthropy and donating a portion of the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity.
Be sure to get your party on as you take in views of the Miami River and skyline, but welcome the spirit of change by registering to volunteer your dusty hammer and nails to help build a home for a family in need. Not only will you dance under the stars and mingle with sexy people, but also you can help make Miami a better place. Now that’s a platform we can all support.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,750 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
