Silent auctions, fancy galas, and golf outings, all in the name of charity. Can you say, “Yawn”? We attend these events to support a good cause, but why shouldn’t we have a good time too? Well, it seems the queens at Lips have the right idea. They’ve teamed up for an exclusive one-night-only show to benefit Women in Distress. In celebration of everyone’s favorite decade, Lips leading lady Diva and her glamorous squad of Nicolette, Misty Eyes, and Twat La Rouge will take the stage in full ’80s garb for a night of neon, crimped hair, and more glitz than you can imagine.
The Diva’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Return to the ’80s benefit takes place Sunday at 7 p.m. For $50, guests can feast on a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or Lips’ signature frozen cosmopolitan cocktail while enjoying a night of drag queen entertainment. VIP tickets for $75 grant guests premium seating to the show, a champagne reception with a meet-and-greet with cast members, a gift bag, and a raffle ticket.
