Reality shows make things look so easy, but in the real world, you don’t have the luxury of fancy editing and strategic cut-away shots that really make the magic happen. So when you’re boogying at the Wednesday-night Factory Milonga Tango Class and Party, look in the mirror and ask yourself: So you think you can dance? Each hump day at 9:30 p.m., join tango pros and wannabes as they attempt one of the sexiest dance forms on Earth (after the cabbage patch, anyway). The hourlong class takes you through the basics and urges you to inject the moves with your own personal style, but the milonga (exotic for “afterparty”), which begins at 10:30, is where you really get to show the hell off as live musicians and singers rock the Parafernalia Studio. Whether you take along a partner or keep it extra-mysterious and show up solo, be sure to bring your own cocktail so you really will think you can dance. The fun will run you ten bucks.
