Showtime, the non-HBO pay cable channel, redecorated the rooms in a Gramercy Park town house to fit the themes of their original shows. Dexter, the serial about a Miami-based serial killer who serial kills other serial killers, was the inspiration for the kitchen and dinning room. Designer Amy Lau takes the South Florida cliche of an all white design scheme and splatters blood all over it. So pleased was she with the results that she’s actually converted some of the design elements into a limited edition line available at Spring design & art’s online store. The range includes three types of dismembered flatware, blood splattered chairs and flatware, and wine glasses covered with incriminating fingerprints. Sadly though, there’s no serial killer cereal bowls, ha.
