If the thought of eating an endangered marlin brings tears to your eyes, would a side of French fries help? The Florida Marlins Community Foundation’s annual Fish ‘N Chips casino party is all about craps, blackjack, roulette, and poker for a good cause. The games begin at 7 p.m. this Thursday at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, where Marlins coaches and players, local celebs, and perhaps you will fork out the cash. All proceeds from the games and silent auction go to charity, and from 6 to 7 p.m., all the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will go to your gullet. Tickets cost $100 for a single player, $175 for doubles, and $200 for VIP poker players. Let the chips fall where they may — or rather, into your pocket. Call 305-623-6497, email fmcf@marlins.com, or visit cornerstones4kids.com.
