If your last attempt at cooking a meal resulted in a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and a burned meatloaf, maybe it’s time you got some professional help. To help rescue you and your family’s menu, come to the weekly Saturday cooking class at Two Chefs. This week’s educational experience is called “Who Needs Meat?” To which we respond, good question!
For $65 you can take part in creating a meal that includes curried sweet potato and lentil soup in coconut milk, eggplant rolls with ratatouille, baked samosas with tzatziki, and white chocolate strawberry mousse with hazelnut lace cookies. “It’s not a demonstration, it’s hands on. You get to play with the stoves, play with the knives, the students cook everything,” says Andres Alarcon, one of the master chefs who will be teaching. After the two-hour class the prepared dishes will be laid out buffet-style and you’ll be able to enjoy the scrumptious fruits of your labor.
