If you haven’t been privy to its sexy, acrobatic antics, know that Circ X is Miami’s edgier answer to Cirque du Soleil. Founded in 2002 and featuring a cast of wild, crazy, and colorful characters, the interactive stage show has spent the past decade-plus titillating Fortune 500 execs and clubgoers alike.
And now this utterly unique escapade is coming to the Fillmore for a long-awaited burlesque blowout. Founder Diana Lozano and her team have been raising funds for this show-to-end-all-shows for a couple of years, and the gig is finally coming to fruition.
Audience members can expect somersaults, skivvies, and sex appeal. The one-hour format will showcase a variety of quick and dirty acts, from circus to burlesque and back again. Adventurous, risky, and unforgettable… everything you want in a Saturday night.
There are two shows — one starts at 7:30 p.m., the other at 10 — at the Gleason Room, Backstage at the Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave.
Tickets cost $15 to $65 (before taxes and fees). Visit fillmoremb.com, or call 305-673-7300.
