Some women don’t want you to know their age, while others conceal their shoe size. Some decide to hide their IQ, maybe to fit in or maybe because they adore catching foolish machismo by surprise. But today at the Byron Carlyle Theater (500 71st St., Miami Beach), the women of Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery will hide only their inhibitions. This play has been making rounds since 1988, when award-winning playwright Shay Youngblood decided to teach the world about a girl referred to only as “Daughter” and the league of exceptional women that raised her.
