’Tis the season for special attractions. This year, Jungle Island puts a tropical twist on an old cliché. The park’s third annual Winter Wonder Island won’t rain fake snow this Sunday, but who needs that when you have camel rides and contortionists? The spectacle will feature special performances by Humanimals — an interactive cirque production with stilt walkers, acrobats, dancers, and more — celebrating holidays from around the world. And beginning the second week of Wonder Island, visitors can take a desert camel ride on the island’s private beach.
