This time last year, after going 1-15 the previous season, Miami Dolphins fans knew winning just a couple more games would make the season a success. Fast-forward to this year, when we find the Dolphins as reigning AFC East champions and any step backward would be a disappointment. It’s not all roses when you post a ten-game improvement; they’ll have to play a slew of powerhouse teams this year as a result. After facing a suddenly dangerous Falcons team, the Fins will host the Indianapolis Colts on the big stage this Monday at LandShark Stadium. Featuring lopsided battles such as Manning versus Pennington and Wayne versus Ginn, this game will be a litmus test for the Dolphins’ year ahead. Win (or at least stay competitive), and an AFC championship appearance wouldn’t seem as unlikely. Lose, and it’s grasping for the wild card again. Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $41 and are available at ticketmaster.com.
