What’s blond, plastic, and absolutely fabulous? No, it’s not Barbie. It’s the wildly bold and fiercest female on the comedy scene, Joan Rivers. And she’s coming to sunny South Florida. With a career spanning four decades, Rivers has been everything from a comedian on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, a Tony-nominated actress, an Emmy-winning talk-show host, and a best-selling author of titles such as Men Are Stupid and They Like Big Boobs. Among the younger set, she’s best known for her role as the red-carpet queen of fashion commentary. And despite her age, Rivers isn’t ready to retire just yet. She’s back on tour with her one-woman show, proving that at 77 years old, she’s still got it. The outrageous personality who once quipped, “I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor,” will appear at Hard Rock Live.
