Cab is King in California wine country, and come Tuesday, September 13, at 6:30 p.m., Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Coral Gables will feature three of Cali’s most royal Cabernet Sauvignons: the 2006 Napa Valley and 2006 and 2007 Silver Oak Alexander Valley from the acclaimed Silver Oak Cellars. Along with sister winery Twomey’s Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot, they’ll be aired with dishes like petite lamb chops with polenta fries, mint pistachio pesto, and “F-17” sauce, and Newport Club rib eye with applewood-smoked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and bacon-shallot butter.
