It’s gonna be a fairly quiet holiday week on the local EDM front, but you can get your fill of tasty house and techno beats on Wednesday night when the Miami/LA-based record label-cum-production duo petFood throw down at Electric Pickle. petFood was formed in late 2009 by Miami natives Lazaro Casanova and Jay-You as a launching pad for their Afro-Cuban-infused blend of upbeat percussive house and minimal tech. The duo will be joined by DJ Inbal (of Retox Wednesdays) who always bangs out the finest deep house selections, and by DJ/producers Diego de la Vega and Daltn, both new to the petFood roster. With no cover and a killer lineup, this is the perfect way to kickstart the long holiday weekend.
