At least that could be a new tradition starting this year, when Keep It Classic brings A Cadaver Christmas to O Cinema (90 NW 29th St., Miami). Christmas is a time for togetherness, and A Cadaver Christmas tells the tale of a university janitor, a cop, and a drunkard who team up to fight a laboratory of reanimated cadavers. On Christmas. If it sounds like a loose remake of It’s a Wonderful Life, you’re wrong and probably a little weird.
There will also be a canned-food drive at the screening to benefit Feeding South Florida. The first 40 people who bring cans (full cans, cheapskate) will receive a free Texas Chainsaw 3D shirt, which is apparently not edible.
If some weirdo gave you some dented cans of soup for Christmas and Publix won’t take let you return them, it looks like you’ve found a way out. If, however, you have any canned brains, you might want to save them in case of the zombie apocalypse.
