Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
What’s better than experiencing all the varied activities the Magic City offers? Partaking in them on the cheap, that’s what. Every year during October, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau organizes Miami Attractions Month, a daily opportunity to enjoy Miami’s vast events for about half the cost.
During Miami Attractions Month, locals can enjoy buy-one-get-one-free admission and other offers at destinations around the city, from zoos and gardens to museums and wineries.
This year’s Mainland South participating attractions include the historic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Coral Castle Museum, the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, Zoo Miami, the Fruit & Spice Park, Monkey Jungle, and Palmetto Mini Golf. Mainland North areas feature deals at HistoryMiami, Jungle Island, Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection, and others.
Miami Attractions Month will continue through October 31. Visit miamiattractionsmonth.com or call 305-539-3000. Shelly Davidov
