The beach is Miami’s best asset, so what better place to celebrate freedom than with your toes in the sand? Before the sparkly show, you can practice yoga, nosh on eats from food trucks, and listen to live tunes from the Marshall Brothers Band and Spam Allstars. Then it’s time to watch some bottle rockets and sky flyers do their thing. The party kicks off at 9 a.m. and fireworks happen at 9 p.m. at the North Beach Bandshell (73rd Street and Collins Ave., Miami Beach). Admission is free. Visit miamibeachfl.gov.
