Every blue moon brings murmurs about a new party arising from the monotony that is the South Beach club scene. But you’ve heard it all before, and by now it takes a roar for you to believe it. For more than a year, the urban chic crowd has been meeting at Harrison’s Restaurant for an intimate R&B dinner party that has grown into a full-blown club night. So consider this your roar, because now you’re late to the party. It’s called The 400 Club at The Fifth, and it’s where sports and music celebrities, models, and Miami’s finest go to party Friday nights.

The move to The Fifth came as a shock to regulars, and there was buzz about the party going elsewhere. But judging by the overflowing lines on opening night, it seems the old saying is true: “Men lie, women lie, but numbers don’t.” Visit www.myspace.com/400club for more info.
