As far as Miami circuit parties go, Winter Party is the best. And after almost a week’s worth of events, what better to way to show your pride (and raise money for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force) than to keep on partying? It’s Sunday’s Winter Party Beach Party (a bit redundant, we know) that really helps the week earn its title of “The Hottest Winter in the World.” That’s because thousands of men — and some women — take over Lummus Park (12th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach) for six hours of dancing under the Miami sun. Speedos are not mandatory but highly suggested. Providing the afternoon soundtrack will be Los Angeles DJ Joe Gauthreaux, who is no stranger to the gay circuit. Advance tickets cost $80 for general admission and $130 for VIP with included open bar (or $100 and $160 the day of) — 21 and older only. And for the serious partygoer, there’s the $275 Beach Party Cabana Club, which grants access to the Cabana Club, with food, drinks, and drool-worthy servers.
