Have you ever wished for a more artful Cinco de Mayo experience? Do you crave a touch of taste beyond the vicious bite of tequila and salted lime with which you’ve so eagerly been waiting to celebrate? Well, fear not. Yo Miami is stepping up to the challenge of helping you fill that void of beauty, all the while leaving you with enough cash for a nice bottle of añejo.
This Sunday at Yo Space (294 NE 62nd St., Miami), the Average José Arté Sale will offer pieces by Yo Miami’s resident artists as well as more than a dozen visiting artists. The items range from original works to clothing, accessories, and objects for the aesthete’s appetite, and will have a price cap of $250. That means you’ll be able to score some exquisite, unique artwork, fresh from the hands of the craftsman, for less than a pair of Jordans. And for your stomach’s appetite, the Los Chamos food truck will be onsite to fulfill your digestive needs. Dale.
