Adriana Carvalho’s culminating solo exhibition as an artist-in-residence at ArtCenter/South Florida (800 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach) showcases her evolutionary journey at the center — her obsession with dresses, in particular. The metal-based sculptural works explore themes of humor, empathy, loss, and sexuality, in addition to being absolutely gorgeous dresses.
