The South Miami Rotary Art Festival returns for its 31st year this weekend, and it continues to be one of the most popular and best-attended events in the area, so won’t you join?
The festival features 150 exhibits of fine arts and high-end crafts from around the country, multinational food, live music, a beer garden, and great raffles. Admission is free, and there’s ample garage and street parking in this exciting area filled with historic buildings, trendy restaurants, and unique shops.
Located directly across from the South Miami Metrorail station, the show is held on Sunset Drive (SW 72nd Avenue) between South Dixie Highway and Red Road (SW 57th Avenue).
The festival is produced entirely by volunteers of the South Miami Rotary Club. All profits fund annual college scholarships for at-risk students, free dictionary and atlas giveaways to students throughout Miami-Dade County, as well as Rotary’s other local and international service projects.
The fest takes place Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is fun for the whole family. Call 305-665-1146 or visit southmiamifest.org.
