Sure, there’ll be lights, and you can probably even expect a camera or two. But at the Miami International Film Festival, it’s all about the action. Hot, steamy film action — sometimes sweet, sometimes dirty, and always rare and exotic.
More than 100 films will screen Friday through March 11, ranging from big-name features to movies by and starring as-yet undiscovered talent. Miami is the only place you can see Jason Segel and Ed Helms in Jeff Who Lives at Home, for example, but it’s also the only place you can check out home-grown flicks such as The Beach Chronicles AGX, an animated film noir that’s just one of several world premieres you can check out during the festival.

March 2-11, 2012
