This past weekend, hundreds of cam girls — or women who make a living chatting with or performing for fans online — descended upon the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. That’s where CammingCon, the first-ever expo for this billion-dollar industry was held.

First there was an industry day, for girls who wanted to break into the field and learn more about how it works. But Saturday was the fun part. Fans could mingle around the hotel, finally meeting girls they’ve had long-term relationships with online for years.
Although organizer Clinton Cox stressed before the conference that many of the girls have relationships with these fans that are more about companionship than sex, New Times went to Fan Day to find out some of the strangest requests these girls have received from suitors.
