$10,000

Any eatery can set up shop on the shore and boast about its fine waterfront dining, but what makes a bayside restaurant memorable is the view. And the vista at the Rusty Pelican is unparalled. By day, watch the clouds drift across the sky over sparkling Biscayne Bay. When night falls, admire Miami’s glittering skyline and bask in the glow emitted by a cozy fire pit. Watch the sun fade this evening during happy hour. Every weekday from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., guests can enjoy the twinkling sounds of a live pianist in the lounge or toast outside with a variety of reasonably priced libations. Domestic beers will set you back $2, while imports, house wine, and well drinks cost $2.50. To sate your appetite, the chef offers a choice of delicious — and complimentary — hors d’oeuvres. Call 305-361-3818.
