After months of anticipation, rendering teases, and whispered opening dates, Cactus Club Cafe is finally ready to make its long-awaited Miami debut.
The celebrated Vancouver-based restaurant will officially open its downtown Miami location on Tuesday, February 10, at 5 p.m., inside the Citigroup Center, bringing its signature “elevated everyday dining” to one of the city’s most high-profile corners. Reservations are now live, and for a restaurant that’s been on Miami’s radar since its first U.S. plans were announced back in the summer of 2025, the countdown is officially on.

What to Expect in Downtown Miami
Cactus Club’s Miami opening marks the brand’s second U.S. location and its 35th overall, following a recent debut in Boston. The restaurant occupies a massive 11,500-square-foot space at the base of the 34-story Citigroup Center, at Biscayne Boulevard and Southeast Second Street, with room for more than 280 diners across a central bar, lounge seating, semi-private dining areas, and a lush patio oasis.
“I’m excited to introduce Miami to the Cactus experience,” says Andrew Latchford, president of Cactus Club Cafe, in a statement. “The food, design, and energy are on par with some of the best restaurants in North America, but at a price point that invites people to come often.” That balance, polished but not pretentious, has long been central to the Cactus Club identity.

From Butternut Squash Ravioli to Wagyu Beef Carpaccio
Founded in 1988, the brand built its reputation on chef-driven menus that feel celebratory without being overcomplicated. In Miami, the kitchen will be led by executive chef Greg McCallum alongside the brand’s test kitchen team.
“We make modern North American food that is inspired by the places and cuisines we love,” McCallum says. “This menu celebrates Miami’s best ingredients with coastal classics and fresh favorites like sushi, ceviche, and Wagyu beef carpaccio.” The menu also spans salads, bowls, pastas, and steaks, with desserts like Key lime pie and London Fog crème brûlée anchoring the finish.

Expect an Awesome Happy Hour and a Sleek Layout
The bar program is equally ambitious. From the lounge and patio bars, guests can expect more than a dozen custom cocktails, including the brand’s signature frozen Bellini, alongside a sommelier-selected wine list and a wide range of beers. A daily dine-in happy hour runs from 3 to 7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to close.
Design-wise, Cactus Miami leans into drama. Designed by ICRAVE, a Journey studio, the space features layered greenery, slatted wood details, statement lighting, and commissioned artwork, including three pieces by neo-expressionist artist Hunt Slonem, plus works by Marco Grassi and Rhys Farrel.
For downtown Miami, the opening adds another heavyweight to an increasingly competitive dining landscape. Cactus Club Cafe is poised to bring high-energy dining, late-night vibes, and a distinctly Canadian take on polished casual to downtown Miami.
