We’ve known for some time that OnlyFans is big business in Miami: Our city is practically the platform’s financial headquarters in the U.S., with the most creators per capita of any large city in the nation. Here, creators like Camilla Araujo and Sophie Rain, who got their starts on OnlyFans, become household names with national recognition.

But it’s not just the creators that make OnlyFans successful in Miami. A recent analysis by OnlyGuider, a platform used to search for OnlyFans creators, ranked Miami as one of the global cities that spend the most money on OnlyFans. The analysis looked at data from 188 countries and 100 cities to determine that demand is only increasing around the world. The U.S., U.K., and Australia lead the charge, but Europe and Latin America are quickly catching up.

“OnlyFans’ latest filings reveal a global revenue jump to $7.2 billion, up from $6.6 billion in 2024,” OnlyGuider states in its analysis. “That is a solid nine percent increase, but the distribution of that money has changed dramatically. While the platform’s roots are in the Anglo-sphere, the growth engine is moving.”

Demand is also accelerating locally. Miami landed in the Top 5 of global spenders, coming in at No. 4 with $374,921 spent on the platform per capita. That increased the city’s 2024 spending of $363,951 per capita. Atlanta, Orlando, and Milan outpaced Miami, with Washington, D.C. rounding out the Top 5.

Miami also ranked at No. 26 for total spend globally, and it came in at No. 14 within North and South America. New York City topped the list with a whopping $87 million spent on OnlyFans. Los Angeles came in second with $71 million, and Chicago, Mexico City, and Houston rounded out the Top 5. Miami’s total amount spent on OnlyFans this year? $17 million.

OnlyFans isn’t the only platform locals are using to get their kicks discreetly. This week, Ashley Madison, the long-running platform marketed to people in monogamous relationships who are looking to have affairs, announced Miami topped all other U.S. cities for new sign-ups in 2025. That came just one year after Miami topped the platform’s list of the top U.S. cities for winter affairs.
