Florence + The Machine is set to return to South Florida in spring 2026. The British act, led by singer Florence Welch, has announced a performance at the Kaseya Center on Wednesday, April 29, as part of the Everybody Scream Tour.

The run supports the band’s sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, released on Friday, October 31. The record includes the singles “Everybody Scream” and “One of the Greats,” and features contributions from Mark Bowen of IDLES, Aaron Dessner of the National, and Japanese-American indie artist Mitski. Produced in part by Welch herself, the album blends gothic imagery with folk textures and orchestral arrangements.

In past interviews, Welch has described the project as a response to personal upheaval. In 2023, she underwent emergency surgery following a miscarriage and a ruptured fallopian tube, an experience she called “the closest I came to death.” That period of recovery prompted the thematic arc of Everybody Scream, which explores grief, healing, mysticism, and the shifting contours of womanhood.

The album builds on the introspective tone of 2022’s Dance Fever, but with a darker and more esoteric lens. Welch leans into folk horror, spiritual symbols, and lyrical vulnerability, using her signature vocal theatrics to weave stories of transformation and survival.

Florence + The Machine last appeared in South Florida in 2024, when Welch joined Taylor Swift onstage during all three nights of the Eras Tour at Hard Rock Stadium. The upcoming Miami stop will be the band’s first solo headlining show in the city since performing at what was then called American Airlines Arena in 2022.

Known for immersive, emotionally intense performances, Florence + The Machine has spent more than a decade at the forefront of alternative pop, with five critically acclaimed albums and a reputation for bringing cathedral-sized energy to major venues and festivals.

The opener for the night will be the Irish pop singer CMAT.
